Mildmay Farm and Stud has a small selection of homebred or yearling purchases, thoroughbred horses for sale. They are available at realistic prices to good homes as we do not like to sell our horses at sales where they are likely to be purchased to race abroad. They are suitable for competition , riding/pony club or hacking homes. Eligible RoR classes or are unraced. Most have been re-schooled. All have good temperaments and are good to catch, shoe and box. They hack out alone or in company and open to vet. All the horses which have been in training have retired sound.

Perfect Place

Homebred, pretty, 14.3hh, 5 year old chestnut mare by Compton Place. She has never raced, is working well on the flat and over poles but still a little green. She is easy to do and lives in or out. She will make a lovely RC/PC horse or would be equally happy to go hacking. She would most likely also enjoy hunting or polo.

Homebred, 15.3hh, 4 year old bay mare by Halling who should grow on. She has been in training and has run a couple of races but was too slow to win on the flat. Purchased as a yearling and has run a few times. She is a. 15.3hh 6 year old bay mare. She is a very talented horse with a big, scopey jump and fantastic paces. She loves jumping and has been cross country schooled (video available) jumping ditches and in/out of water. She has been brought on slowly and ready to go on to compete at Dressage, Show jumping, Eventing or PC/RC. She hacks out alone or in company. She has a small blemish from a wire cut on her front leg which does not affect her. She is eligible RoR classes.
